GOORAL

Gooral, or Mateusz Górny, is a music producer born in Bielsko-Biała, who became famous thanks to the original combination of electronic music, drum’n’bass and dubstep with ethnic highlander music. Whola lotta love Gooral’s music career began in 2003 when his remix of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whola lotta love’ debuted at number two on the Bis radio charts. Gooral still wonders if the request to take him off the air was respect for Led Zeppelin or just fear … Psio Crew The real popularity of Gooral was brought by Psio Crew – an electro-highlander band, which he founded in 2004 together with Maciej ‘Kamer’ Szymonowicz and with which he released the album ‘Szumi Jawor Soundsystem’. In 2008, Gooral leaves the band to come back in 2015 and reactivate the band Ethno Elektro What has been happening around Gooral so far is nothing compared to the craze that followed the release of Ethno Elektro’s debut album in 2011, which included 14 tracks, including Gooral’s biggest hit – ‘Karczmareczka’ ‘. Woodstock with Mazowsze In 2013, Gooral performed for the second time at Przystanek Woodstock, this time cooperating and performing on stage together with the Song and Dance Ensemble Mazowsze, causing the crowd of several hundred thousand to be strongly stimulated :). “Whoever deals with music in this country and is not here today is a double ass with ears” – said Jurek Owsiak after the performance. The entire performance has been immortalized on DVDs and CDs available for purchase. Better Place 2014 is the year of the release of the next album – ‘Better Place’, which Gooral released together with his manager Łukasz Adamczewski on his own label Kardiogram Tunes. The album sealed the then cooperation with singer Anna Wiosna Rogowska, Maciej Szymonowicz and Piotr Gawron Krakowiacy i Górale In the second half of 2015, Gooral received an honorable invitation to create music for Wojciech Bogusławski’s performance “Krakowiacy i Górale” staged at the Polish Theater in Poznań. This very interesting experience in Gooral’s career premiered on December 19, 2015 Khabaya Currently, Gooral cordially invites everyone to the premiere of his latest album entitled “Khabaya”, which in the language of Moroccan highlanders means a secret. On the album you can hear Adrianne Styrcz, Anne Bajke Antonik, Maciej Szymonowicz or Piotr Gawron. The premiere of the album and the premiere concert are scheduled for October 29, 2016. Musical achievements In its achievements, Gooral has performances, e.g. at: Sziget Festival, Colors of Ostrava, Before Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Open’er Festival, Live Festival, Przystanek Woodstock, Orange Warsaw Festival and Exit. Gooral also voiced Frank Hurley’s 1919 film South.
